Loved The Shared Dog. A story of sisters getting a dog suddenly becomes a family journey through enjoyed life together. The bittersweet sneaks up on you in a true to life way.
Thank you Kathy for such a wonderful story! I love the down to earth and very real messages in this book. Children will get so much more from this story than meets the eye... responsibility, love, loss, family. I'd give this more stars if possible!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Shared Dog, a Brandy Pie story. Kathleen Harward does an excellent job of portraying every child's dream of owning and caring for a pet of their own. Using true-to-life characters, this book will show your children how a little persistence can change the course of your life forever! I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series - The Lost Recipe!
Three-year olds have already begun trying to figure out the reasons for everything. If we live to 100, we will still be doing this. Our stories have something for the head and heart of any age.
Our books are the result of the self-guided labors of many, combined by The Invisible Hand that guides a voluntary marketplace.
Small children would rather play with the stuff in your kitchen cupboard than a toy. Ours are the “pots and pans” stories of living.
