It's hard to believe this is Kathy's first book. It's so well done, and the illustrations are beautiful. I love this story, as it strongly brings back the emotions I've had through the years of bringing a new dog (and cat) into our family, and then experiencing the circle of life with them. Congratulations to Kathy and her team...I'm looking forward to seeing what they have next for us!
I love the Shared Dog and Lost Recipe books, and am looking forward to reading and sharing the next ones! The stories have heart and inspire us to be our best selves.
I do not usually leave reviews, but in the case of Kathy's books, I felt it was important. They hold stories that will touch your heart. These would be a great addition to any family's library or to the Little Free Library in your neighborhood. The artwork is beautiful, made even more special knowing the artists are from around the world. My favorite book is The Paddleboard Dog.
Three-year olds have already begun trying to figure out the reasons for everything. If we live to 100, we will still be doing this. Our stories have something for the head and heart of any age.
